- 1 pre-made pizza dough
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup pistachio pesto (store-bought or homemade)
- 6 slices mortadella, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup chopped pistachios
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a pizza stone or an upside-down baking sheet in the oven to heat for at least 15 minutes.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Spoon dollops of pistachio pesto over the ricotta cheese.
- Arrange the mortadella slices on top of the pesto.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the mortadella.
- Transfer the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
- Sprinkle chopped pistachios and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
Notes
- For a more flavorful crust, consider making your own pizza dough.
- Feel free to experiment with different types of pesto or cheese.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through.
