Description

Ditch the alcohol and bring the fun to your gatherings with this easy and quick non-alcoholic recipe! This playful mocktail captures the essence of the classic Payday candy bar, offering a delightful blend of sweet, salty, and creamy flavors. Perfect for game nights, movie nights, or themed parties!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 part Creamy Peanut Butter (smooth or crunchy)
  • 1 part Milk (whole, low-fat, or plant-based milk)
  • 1 part Butterscotch Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Caramel Sauce (for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon Finely Chopped Peanuts (optional, for garnish

Instructions

  1. (Optional) Prepare the shot glass rims for a visually stunning presentation. Pour caramel sauce onto a shallow dish. Dip the rim of each shot glass into the caramel sauce, ensuring it coats the entire rim.
  2. (Optional) If using peanuts for garnish, roughly chop them using a knife or food processor.
  3. Combine peanut butter, milk, butterscotch syrup, and ice (optional) in your blender.
  4. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy, with no lumps of peanut butter remaining. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired by adding more butterscotch syrup or a touch of vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the blended mixture into the prepared shot glasses. Garnish with finely chopped peanuts, if using.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the consistency: If your drink is too thick, add a splash more milk or water to achieve your desired consistency.
  • Substitute with confidence: Don’t have all the ingredients? No problem! Substitute butterscotch syrup with maple syrup or chocolate syrup for a different flavor profile. You can also use a dairy-free milk alternative if desired.
  • For a thicker drink: Use less milk or add a scoop of ice cream to the blender for a more decadent and frosty beverage.
  • Spice it up: Want a bit of a kick? Add a pinch of ground cinnamon or nutmeg to the blender for a warm and spiced flavor.
