Description

Beat the summer heat with these vibrantly colored, tropically flavored Rainbow Rum Slushies! Layered with fruity rums and juices, they’re a showstopping frozen cocktail.


Ingredients

  • Strawberry or raspberry rum
  • Grenadine syrup
  • Ice
  • Orange liqueur (Triple Sec)
  • Pineapple juice
  • Mango rum
  • Midori melon liqueur
  • Lime juice
  • Blue Curacao
  • Lemonade
  • Grape or blackberry rum
  • Blueberry juice
  • Garnishes: maraschino cherries, pineapple, edible flowers, straws

Instructions

  • Blend strawberry/raspberry rum, grenadine, and ice for the red layer.
  • Blend orange liqueur, pineapple juice, and ice for the orange layer.
  • Blend mango rum, pineapple juice, and ice for the yellow layer.
  • Blend Midori, lime juice, and ice for the green layer.
  • Blend Blue Curacao, lemonade, and ice for the blue layer.
  • Blend grape/blackberry rum, blueberry juice, and ice for the purple layer.
  • Layer colors from bottom to top in a glass: purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red.
  • Garnish and serve immediately with straws/umbrellas.

Notes

  • For mocktail version, use all juices instead of rums.
  • Chill glasses beforehand for best layering.
  • Pour each layer slowly and use a spoon to guide for clean layers.
